| 6 button mame [ZZ9ZZA / Aug31(Mon) 00:52] <-Reply to this message Hi I recently got a "new Astro City" cabinet and I'm thinking about setting up a PC to MAME on it however I've noticed that the JAMMA fingerboard only supports up to 5 buttons I was hoping that someone would be able to explain to me how I would go about this. JAMMA officially supports only 3 buttons per player (plus one start button) so the other extra buttons are wired via special connectors that are different from game to game. A bit stupid, really...but I guess they didn't think normal games would use 4+ buttons when they made the JAMMA standard. |
