I have a Sega Naomi System with marvel vs capcom 2. I just bought power stone and went to put the game in. Now every time i turn on the machine it says ERROR 01 Game not accepted by board. I get the same message when i put back in my own game MVC2. Is it just not connecting???? ack please help. You can e mail me back at INpuls@aol.com. OR here of course. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Naomi connectors can be very picky. Have you tried cleaning them? Also, when inserting the cart, push carefully from each edge - sometimes you think the cart is inserted correclty, but when you press it, it just goes "pop!", and moves deeper into the sockets.

"ERROR 01 Game not accepted by board" is the exact same error I've gotten when either connectors are dirty and/or the carts are not inserted carefully.

Some Naomi games have region locks, so if you're unlucky, that that could cause the error, too. If I remember correctly, Power Stone is guaranteed to work on any Naomi motherboard, but I'm not sure about MVC2. ...all the Naomi games I have bought have worked just fine, tho.

When you insert Power Stone and go to the operator menu, what does it say about the name of the cartridge? Mine says "POWER STONE IN EXPORT MODE", what about yours? Maybe your motherboard is "regioned" differently, and not all games run on it. (just guessing)

Anyway, don't be alarmed by the above two paragraphs - check the connectors first!

excelent advice....i will try the cleaning......the funny part is, is that im having the same message with the MVC2 cart...and that was already working with that mother board...so its gotta be a conector thing.
