| Playchoice 10 Cartridge Help [Playchoice 10 guy / Jan26(Mon) 21:23] <-Reply to this message I recently bought a playchoice 10 at an auction. Some of the games do not operate properly. For instance, with Super Mario brothers, you cannot select or start a game, It just runs thru the attract screen. With Super mario 3, The game plays, but the bottom 1/5 of the screen is garbage. With Goonies, you cannot move the player, except for crouch (down). With baseball, you cannot select a team after you start the game. Some other games work perfectly.. Like duck hunt, excitebike, mike tyson boxing, 1942, etc.. Diagnostics on the Playchoice console says nothing is wrong, all memory tests pass. Are the cartridges defective, or is there something wrong with the computer? There are only 3 eproms on a super mario cart and a single 8 pin IC, probably a serial eprom, what could be the problem? |
