1. Double Dragon was indeed released in 1987 so your cabinet is not an original DD cabinet - it may well be that Double Dragon is a game which was never released as a cabinet, only as a kit that allows the operator to "update" existing old cabinets.

4. Voltage is indeed a very common problem - the games require 5V, but often the power section gives out less or more than 5V. Some games don't care if the output is little off, but others go totally wild. There should be a little adjustment knob/screw which you can use to fine-tune the output.

5. Both boards together are your "Double Dragon JAMMA PCB". Some PCBs have multiple PCBs in one - I have couple of games which consists of 4 stacked PCBs. Sometimes one of the PCBs work as "motherboard" and one is "game cartridge", so you can change the game by swapping one PCB (for exmaple Irem's "In the Hunt"/"Undercover Cops"/"Geo Storm 2" work like that)

Remember to be VERY careful with the monitor!

Thanks for the HELP, I just posted the answers you gave to that website and referenced your name for the credits. Please note the follow up questions I added on that website (if you or any other readers can answer them) based on the input you provided. Also, you said be careful with the monitor....is there something I could easily mess up on the monitor...not sure what prompted that warning?

I posted even more input from others.....hopefully, I will work my way towards figuring this thing out! Sounds like no one is recommending I even continue to mess with the current power supply and upgrade to a different power supply. If anyone else has input, please write!

Thanks,

Daniel
